Food works in three layers: ingredients (per 100 g) → recipes (ingredients in grams or kitchen measures) → meal plans (days of recipes).

Make a meal plan

  1. Food → Meal plans → New meal plan. Its name is at the top: tap it to change it.
  2. Each day is a card. Tap its name to call it something (e.g. Training day), then Add a meal: the slot (Breakfast, Lunch…) is filled in, and you pick the recipe. Tap the slot's name to change it.
  3. The calories show beside each meal and each day; under the name you see how many days and about how many calories a day.
  4. Add a day for more days.

There's no Save button: it saves as you go, and says Saved under the name (or what's still missing). When you're done, just go back.

Change a day or a meal

  • Tap ⋯ on a day to move it, Duplicate it (same meals and portions, right after it: then change what differs) or remove it. Today stays on its day when you copy or move days.
  • Tap ⋯ on a meal to move it, remove it, or Swap for a similar recipe: one of your recipes with as much protein or more, at the portion that gives the same calories (the most protein first).
  • ⋯ at the top makes a copy of the plan (straight away), shares it or deletes it.
  • A recipe you search for and don't have: Create “…” starts it with that name; going back brings you here with it in place.

Portion × under each meal sets how much of it that day has: 0.5 is half the recipe, 1.5 one and a half. The meal itself stays as it is, so one meal can be big on one day and small on another; the day's totals follow.

Ingredients in a kitchen measure round to what you'd really use: 1 chilli at ×1.3 stays 1 chilli (×1.6 makes 2), eggs and cloves stay whole, slices go in halves, spoons and cups in the usual steps (1½ tbsp, ¾ cup), ml to the nearest 10. The calories and macros you see are worked out from those amounts. Ingredients in grams scale exactly. Want it different? Set Rounds to on the ingredient's measure.

Set meal portions from 0.25 to 4, including values to two decimal places.
