Every new exercise is adaptive, whether it's strength, Endurance or Speed. You'll see Adaptive: on at the top of its page; tap it to turn it off (or on again).

What it does

  • Follows how you really train. Do exactly what the plan says and nothing changes. Do more or less than planned, and your pace and next-set effort shift a little toward what you actually did. One great or bad day only nudges them; a pattern over several sessions moves them more.
  • Re-plans from your latest session. The sessions ahead always start from what you last did. The message after logging tells you if anything changed, e.g. "pace 0.6% → 0.62%".
  • Never stops at the goal. When you reach your goal, a new, harder one is set for you (heavier, longer or faster), so there's always a next target. For bodyweight exercises the new goal can still be with no extra weight. If the new goal is harder than your weight and rep ranges allow, their top grows to fit it: more reps for exercises without extra weight, more weight for the others.

Good to know

  • It works the same whether you log from the exercise's page, a routine session or Focus mode.
  • Undo puts everything back: progress, pace, effort and the goal.
  • You can still change the pace, effort or goal yourself in Edit; adaptive carries on from there.
  • Prefer a fixed plan? Turn Adaptive off and nothing changes unless you edit it.
